On December 18, 2025, BYD successfully held a ceremony at its Jinan factory to mark the production of its 15 millionth new energy vehicle. The Denza N8L, a large six-seater safe and luxurious SUV, became the 15 millionth vehicle produced, marking the 15,000th Denza N8L to roll off the production line. BYD took 17 years to achieve this milestone, but only 13 months to go from 10 million to 15 million vehicles, once again setting a new record for the "acceleration" of China's new energy vehicle industry and signifying that China's automotive industry has officially entered a new stage of global leadership.
From January to November 2025, BYD's cumulative sales reached 4.182 million units, a year-on-year increase of 11.3%, with overseas sales reaching 917,000 units, far exceeding the total overseas sales for the entire year of 2024. Its overseas footprint now covers more than 110 countries and regions, making it one of the fastest-growing Chinese automakers in terms of exports and leading Chinese automobiles from China to the world.
Behind BYD's rapid growth is its long-term commitment to a "technology-driven" and "new energy vehicle" development strategy. In the first three quarters of 2025, BYD's R&D investment reached 43.75 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 31%, with cumulative R&D investment exceeding 220 billion yuan. BYD's "technology pool" has seen the implementation of disruptive technologies such as the "Eye of the Gods" driver assistance system, megawatt flash charging, the Super e-platform, and Easy3 and Easy4 technologies, addressing core pain points in new energy vehicle safety, range, and handling, continuously pushing the ceiling of value creation in the new energy industry.
The Denza N8L achieved 15,000 units produced in just over a month since its launch, marking a significant milestone for Denza as BYD's premium luxury brand.
Thanks to Yisanfang's expertise, the Denza N8L demonstrated exceptional safety, including a 210km/h fishhook test without rollover. In terms of passive safety, the Denza N8L utilizes 2000MPa materials in key areas, combined with hybrid CTB battery-body integration technology and nine airbags, creating a "super-safe six-seater family vehicle"—a reliable "safety king." The Denza N8L boasts a minimum turning radius of 4.58m, the smallest among large SUVs globally, and is equipped with the Yunlian-A+ road pre-aiming system, easily handling various extreme road conditions. Its "handling king" title is well-deserved, completely resolving the pain point of large vehicles being difficult to drive.
Furthermore, the Denza N8L, with its 6.11㎡ interior space and flexible "4+N" layout, creates a "super-luxury mobile penthouse" suitable for diverse family scenarios; its AI intelligent agent connects to the DeepSeek big model, and the DiPilot 300 laser-assisted driving system, along with the vehicle-home interconnection ecosystem, makes it a "super-intelligent technology vehicle."
With its profound understanding of family luxury travel, the Denza N8L has ignited the market with its outstanding product strength and reputation, becoming the top choice for more and more families seeking a better travel experience. It has also withstood the test of numerous users, recently topping the Autohome large SUV and SUV category reputation rankings with a comprehensive score of 4.61.

While its domestic momentum continues to surge, Denza's internationalization strategy has also accelerated. With elegance, innovation, and technology as its core values, Denza has entered multiple Asian markets, including Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia, and launched the Denza brand in several regions of Europe and Latin America, continuously driving the global luxury car market's transformation towards electrification. This year, the Denza D9 successfully topped the sales charts for luxury MPVs in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and other countries for the first half of 2025. It also demonstrates strong brand premium capabilities, with a starting price of approximately RMB 1.606 million in Singapore and a pre-sale price of approximately RMB 1.05 million in Brazil, significantly exceeding its domestic price.

Currently, Chinese automotive brands are fully entering the deep waters of high-end and globalization. Leveraging industry-leading breakthroughs in new energy technologies, Chinese automakers, represented by BYD, are accelerating the value upgrade from "Made in China" to "Chinese Technology," using technological and product strength to reshape the global automotive industry landscape.
